This product is from South America and is commonly known as BKT (Brazilian Keratin Treatment).  This process is recommended for curly, fizzy or unmanageable hair that is very porous.  Porosity in hair results from a number of things such as bleached highlights, heat damage from flat ironing or previous straightening that was improperly performed.  It is highly effective for creating silky, shiny, straight hair.  It is also ideal for those clients wishing to try straight hair for several months without the commitment of permanent hair straightening.  The product gradually washes off the hair and lasts for approximately 2 to 4 months.  Average touch-up is 3 months.
